Cosa deve sapere chi compra
Who it suits
Families on large lakes and sheltered rivers. Nine seats and a small cabin on a 7.3 m hull make the E-spirit 730 a sensible day-boat package: enough shelter to keep children and belongings out of the sun and rain, without pretending to be a cruiser. Lake Balaton, Lake Velence, the Danube reaches and comparable Central European water are the obvious home; this is not a coastal or offshore proposition.
What 34 kWh and 40 kW buy you
Sixteen point two knots is a real number for this size of boat and puts the E-spirit above the many electric boats that stop at hull speed — but it comes out of a 34 kWh pack, which at full output would be gone in under an hour. The practical picture is a boat that cruises comfortably and quietly for a long afternoon and has a genuine turn of speed available in short bursts. That is a good trade for lake use, provided you go in understanding it rather than expecting sixteen knots all day. Ask Stickl for range at 6 and 10 knots.
Caveats
Stickl is Hungarian, not Austrian or German; the German-language presence you will find belongs to dealers, which is worth knowing when you think about warranty work and parts. The builder's own German and English pages also disagree on displacement — 1,150 kg against 1,250 kg — a small discrepancy, but one to settle before you calculate trailer weights or towing legality.
